Website Launched!!

We launched our new website on Friday. The website was created on a free flash creator called WIX.com, We found it very easy to use and we are very hapy with the quality of the finished website!! Now roll on the finals on Thursday!

Back from Mid Term Break!

With 16 days to go to the F1 in Schools National Final we came back to school. We have lots to do, alot to do in 16 days. Our car design is nearly finished and we will make the car on wednesday. We also have finished looking for sponsors so we can get the t shirts made up. We have to doctor our stand as it was slightly too big. More news later!

Web Site Comes On

Today we had a de-briefing session on what happened on Friday last at the regional finals. We looked at what we could do better, and where we could improve our marks in the competition. We came up with a list of stuff to do:

- Better stand design.
- Better website.
- More sponsors
- Better communication with sponsors
- Faster car with lower drag.
- A sponsors booklet.

And a few tricks up our sleeves!!

Best Engineered Car and through to Irish National Finals!!

Were through! We had a great day in dublin today, where we got best engineered car and got through to the national finals. More on this later!!!!

Manufacturing Begins!!



Today we started to learn how to use the Boxford HSRi2 CNC router that we have in our school. First we weighed all the balsa blanks, as the one we were sent from the ICS this year very dark in colour and seemed heavier than the others we had! So we weighed them one by one and then wrote on them the weight in grams.
